Big savings with LED

The advent and ongoing development of LED lighting has increased the demand for this long-lived, energy efficient technology. When an electric current passes through a certain type of semiconductor diode it causes it to emit light - and, very efficiently. Light emitting diodes have now surpassed all other light sources in terms of luminous efficacy and longevity and, will continue to develop. From a practical viewpoint, this means that by replacing existing lights with LED types you can save a considerable amount on power costs and lighting maintenance. This is especially true for large-scale offices, storage and manufacturing premises.

If you would like to know more, please get in touch today - we would be happy to help you save money. We will be more than happy to answer any and all of your questions.

Workplace and display

If you need a space such as a shop or office lighting up, we can offer you a wide range of solutions from both local and international lighting manufacturers.

Now the price of LED light fittings has fallen to levels comparable with older light sources and light fittings it makes good sense to install LED. This is especially true in relation to maintenance. With older light fittings maintenance is ongoing even though it may not necessarily need to be frequent. Having to fit new lamps, or other components, can be costly and disruptive to business. When compared to conventional light sources the life time of LEDs jumps into the tens of thousands hours which usually means tens of years of maintenance-free illumination.

Many of our clients have upgraded their main switchboards becuase newer circuit breakers and other modern protective devices, such as Residual Current Devices (RCD), provide a much safer electrical installation than older ones using fuses for circuit protection.

With new electrical regulations coming in to force next year there will be more need for modern switchboards in order to accommodate new types of protective devices such as Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDD). The new rules will apply to new work in residential, commercial and industrial premises, which may well necessitate installing new switchboards.

Besides replacing main switchboards and distribution boards, Arrow's automation division also manufactures industrial switchboards and control cabinets for process control systems.

Why not get in touch with us today to discover how we can help make your installation safer and more efficient.
